Signature Design Jewelry inspired in the Greco-Roman Mythology

The name of this extraordinary project is a statement of intent; since “Ars Signum

means in Latin “jobs, professions or occupations that leave a trace, imprint, or

mark”, referred to both in antiquity as today.

The challenge, unique for the originality of its approach, revolves around the discovery of

the deep relationship between Greco-Roman mythology and today’s professions and

proclaims that the symbolism and the aesthetics of gods and characters from that time is

still alive in contemporary culture

With this project we express through art and design, the similarities that exist between

attributes and values that Greeks and Romans attached to their gods, heroes or

characters, and today’s professions

Handmade Quality Jewelry

Every single piece is produced traditionally.

Lost-wax casting, smoothing, soldering and polishing made by hand, piece by piece.

Diamonds and natural stones set by hand.

Electroplating of antiallergic rhodium and ruthenium.

We only use noble materials as the 18k gold (.750 purity fineness) and sterling silver (.925 hallmark), according to law standards.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our product, there may be very small differences between pieces of the same model.

Modeling and production are made entirely in our workshops in Barcelona.

Quality Materials

We only use the best quality precious metals and natural stones in our jewels. From 18k

gold (.750 purity fineness), sterling silver (.925 hallmark), or ruthenium and rhodium

platings, to diamonds ( Brillant cut) and natural amethysts (Cabochon cut).

Even some parts which the eye can barely see are made of precious metals, like the

hooking bolt from pendants, earrings or bands, which is made of 18k gold, instead of

other metals like steel, in order to increase its durability.

Below you can find a diagram with some of our pieces and a detailed explanation of the

materials we use.

closures provide several distinct features, like security, ease of use, elegance or the

possibility to use with non pierced ears.

In addition, our customers can choose between silver or gold closures, depending on

their tastes, but also in case of allergy to silver, since gold is hypoallergenic, and

consequently the best solution in case of allergy.

Jewels, gems and mythology

Many of the materials that we use in our jewelry have not been chosen arbitrarily, but

have to do with myths and legends that explain their origins, as in the case of the noble

metal Palladium or the gemstone known as Amethyst.
